Now I just have to keep up with it, which is a whole other story, lol. My desk is already messy again! It will be just a quick clean up tonight. The problem is I work on my art projects & get the mail etc during K.'s nap & since we are in the same room I try not to be loud so it just stacks up everyday. Plus I am constantly clipping things from the mail & from magazines to be used in collages. I set the page on my desk & all of it together just makes giant piles on my desk. So I am going to start cleaning it off right when hubby gets home from work before dinner. I organised all my clippings into zip lock bags & put them into categories (people, words, animals, etc.) and then put them in my Rubbermaid plastic drawer things. The only thing is that they are not so convenient to get to everyday to put things away **sigh** so I have a put a big padded envelope in between my desk & the Rubbermaid thing & that is to be the holding area. Once that gets full then I will sort everything that into their proper zip lock bags. I think this will work for me, I do really like how I sorted the categories before I just didn't use the images that much because I didn't want to dig. But three times in 2 days I have gotten into my images and was able to find what I was looking for right away! :)

Daily stuff (IE. excuses, excuses, LOL!): Need to buy more juice tonight to take my pills, don't swallow them too well with just water & that is all I drink. Blood sugar! Reading to K. has been going good. I have always tried to read to him but got discouraged because he is SO active and won't sit still for anything. I have been reading to him while he is eating in his highchair, which works sometime usually he just wants the book, so I have been keeping a couple books nearby so he can have his own while I read. I bought him his favorite book, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. He had a bath book of it & so I bought him the full book & he makes me read that one to him about 20 times a day, lol. But I only count that as one book read a day. :) I do need to get outside more with K. he loves it out there. It is hard to get the motivation to get out there though when it has been in the 100's here, yesterday it was 104°! I need to put water back in his baby pool & put both of us in our bathing suits & sit in the water with him.

Stuff I need to complete really soon: Plan our trip to Seattle, we leave Aug. 23rd! Paint mom's ceilings, she wants them painted before grandparents visit in Sept.

Well I guess that is all for now. K. will be up from his nap shortly.

Day 4

Ok so I am only on the 4th day & so far I have only been keeping up with one of my daily things. I am not going to let myself stress to much over it though, the point of this list is to try to help remind me to do these things and make a good effort at them.

This morning I had intended to test my blood sugar, since I forgot yesterday I put my blood meter on top of my pills. You would think this would make me remember, I even carried my pills AND my blood meter to the kitchen table then I went to get my OJ to take my pills. When I sat down I took my pills & then realized my blood sugar, duh! So I didn't take it because I had already drank the OJ & it wouldn't give me a true fasting reading. Tomorrow I will test my blood BEFORE I get my OJ. :) It seems weird that when I first found out I am diabetic & all during my pregnancy I remembered to test my sugar 4 times a day (every hour when I was first diagnosed!) Every since K. was born I can't remember anything anymore. Oh well it is something I need to work on esp. since we are trying to have another baby, my sugar HAS to be under control so I don't have complications & so the baby won't be so big that I will need a c-section. I will get better! :)
